Our Trip North to See Grandparents: Part II - Grandma and Grandpa Stocktons
We went to Grandma and Grandpa Stocktons on Sunday. When we got there, we went to eat at a restaurant called "Grandma's House." That night we stayed at home and hung out. The next day we went into town to a little coffee shop and listened to grandma and grandps tell stories from "long ago." We went to a thrift store, book store, etc. Afterwards, we went to Hilt (where my mom grew up for a while) and got the audio tour. That night, we played Zioncheck...the signature game of the Stockton household. It was a lot of fun, and we stayed up late. The next day we left for Northern Oregon. The following pictures are from the Stockton's house and Hilt. They got a good amount of snow while we were there :)

I think my favorite pictures are the fence in the snow, daddy with his hat, mom and dad playing Zioncheck, mom's earring, and the Hilt School slide steps. Very good composition! I even like the one of mom and dad's back porch with the light on inside. I think it's the juxtaposition of the cold snow outside and the warm light inside that makes it look inviting. Looks like you have the makings of a second career here.
those pictures are great!!! i love reading and seeing pics of you guys. thanks so much for you continually support!! it is SUCH a blessing!
